Daphne Gale is an indie-folk singer-songwriter whose work blends poetic lyricism, improvisational sensibility, and a deep connection to place. Raised in the Bronx and shaped by time spent in France and working on a farm in Vermont, her music moves between the pastoral and the metropolitan, the intimate and the expansive. With a background in opera and a grounding in folk tradition, she brings a rare emotional precision to both recording and live performance.
